The gateway to the Underisle, this is a fortress island-city defending the only known passageway between worlds. There is severe control of arrivals and departures, both in terms of goods and persons -- heavy taxes keep the Aegis running, and ground-dwellers are not welcome in the skies. No pirate ship has ever been known to be able to even come close to the place without being destroyed.
